About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Engineer (Data Engineer) to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines. In this role, you will be responsible for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into a data warehouse. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Develop and execute data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with data pipeline development and maintenance.
- Proficiency in data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Apache Spark, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience in implementing data quality frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field.
