About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive quality engineering initiatives across product teams with a strong focus on automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and mobile applications using Java and modern test engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end quality engineering efforts with an automation-first mindset.
- Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for various applications.
- Write reusable and maintainable code to enhance testability across teams.
- Collaborate with engineers to review technical solutions and contribute to engineering tasks when necessary.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates to ensure high standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of modern test engineering practices and methodologies.
- Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
