About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee software requests and drive projects to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering and a passion for developing innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle software requests and tickets, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Drive projects from conception through to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Utilize Java (preferably Spring Boot), React JS, and Next JS for software development.
- Apply strong object-oriented and functional programming principles in system design.
- Ensure best practices in server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of engineering experience in software development.
- Proficient in Java, React JS, Next JS, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong knowledge of API-driven development and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
