About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Data Scientist in the MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) domain to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to support manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Lead data science projects from conception through to implementation and monitoring.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts in best practices and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in data science or a related field, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
