Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the application security efforts across multiple projects, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing on applications to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and threats to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
- Provide training and support to developers on secure coding practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in application security, with a focus on secure software development practices.
- Strong knowledge of security tools and technologies (e.g., static and dynamic analysis tools, penetration testing tools).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in application security or related fields.
