In this role as an L3 Network & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing next-gen firewall architectures, Zero Trust frameworks, and secure SD-WAN environments. You will work with industry-leading tools and technologies, including Checkpoint Firewalls and Cisco equipment, to ensure the highest levels of security and performance for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network security solutions using Checkpoint Firewalls and Cisco technologies.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents and threats, providing timely responses and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network infrastructure and security protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security gaps.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to enhance service offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Checkpoint Firewalls and Cisco networking equipment.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience with Zero Trust frameworks and secure SD-WAN implementations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security or Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE) are a plus.
Experience:
- 5-8 years in network and security engineering roles, with a focus on enterprise solutions.
