About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Kafka Administrator with in-depth expertise in managing and maintaining Confluent Kafka platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kafka brokers, schema registry, KSQL DB, and Kafka connectors. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ensure seamless Kafka operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Confluent Kafka platforms to ensure high availability and performance.
- Deploy and configure Kafka on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka brokers and associated components.
- Implement and manage Kafka connectors and schema registry.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Kafka usage and performance.
- Provide support and guidance for best practices in Kafka implementation and management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Kafka administration and architecture.
- Proficiency in deploying Kafka on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and their integration with Kafka.
- Experience with KSQL DB and Kafka connectors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Kafka administration and cloud services.
