About this role
The team is seeking a Java Technical Lead with excellent advanced Java programming skills and a strong background in software development for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience and be proficient in a variety of technologies and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding and architecture.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance application capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Java and experience with AJAX, GWT, and widget libraries such as ExtJS or GXT.
- Strong understanding of MVC frameworks including Struts, Spring MVC, GWT MVC, and JSF.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JAXP, JAXB, Servlet API, Jackson REST, JSON, JSON-RPC, and SOAP/XML.
- Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and Unix/Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka and Redis is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years in Java-based software development.
