About this role
The team is seeking a Java Technical Lead to drive the development and implementation of innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Java and cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of new features and user stories.
- Analyze business models and user requirements to formulate effective design strategies.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable code while ensuring comprehensive code coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services and enhance functionality.
- Oversee CI/CD deployments and manage testing frameworks to ensure software quality.
- Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a collaborative team environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java 1.8 and the Spring Boot framework.
- Strong experience with microservices architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, EC2, IAM, and Kinesis.
- Solid understanding of REST API development.
- Familiarity with AWS Managed Services and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on Java and cloud technologies.
