About this role
The team is seeking a Java Developer to build, enhance, and support scalable enterprise applications and microservices. The role focuses on Core Java, multithreading, database design, SQL, and Spring Boot to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications and microservices.
- Build scalable solutions using Spring Boot.
- Apply Core Java, collections, exception handling, memory management, and design patterns.
- Develop concurrent applications using multithreading and concurrency concepts.
- Design database schemas, data models, stored procedures, and optimized SQL queries.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs.
- Troubleshoot defects and improve application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design, documentation, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with analysts, architects, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders.
- Follow secure, maintainable, and resource-efficient development practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Essential: Java 11+, Core Java, multithreading, concurrency, SQL.
- Essential: Spring Boot 2.x/3.x and Spring Framework.
- Essential: Relational database design, data modeling, joins, indexes, transactions, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Essential: Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD practices, Agile delivery.
- Preferred: Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience Requirements:
- Typically 3–7 years of professional Java development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, multithreading, SQL, and relational databases.
- Experience with testing, Git, code reviews, CI/CD, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is preferred.
