The team is seeking a Java Core Banking Product Support Engineer to join their team in Bangalore or Mumbai. This role is crucial for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise banking applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and experience in a banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for core banking applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Conduct defect analysis and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Manage deployments and coordinate with business, technology, and vendor teams.
- Ensure high availability and performance of banking applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java and related technologies.
- Experience with core banking applications and their functionalities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with incident management tools and processes.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various teams.
Experience:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in product support, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
