About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Java Backend Engineer to join their team as an L2 Production Support Engineer. This role will involve a mix of support and development tasks, with 70% of the focus on production support and 30% on development. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing integrations with Oracle Retail Cloud MFCS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 support for Java-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and new features.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance activities.
- Participate in on-call rotation to address urgent production issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Java development and backend engineering.
- Familiarity with Oracle Retail Cloud MFCS is highly desirable.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging Java applications.
- Experience with production support and incident management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Java backend development and support roles.
