About this role
The team is seeking a strong Senior Java Backend Engineer to join their engineering team and contribute to building scalable, reliable, high-quality backend systems for their platform. This role requires deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with strong system design capabilities and excellent engineering fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to maintain code quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and design clean, maintainable systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Strong understanding of system design principles and microservices architecture.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.
- Familiarity with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of professional experience in backend development, particularly with Java.
