About this role
The team is seeking a Java Backend Developer with a strong focus on healthcare technology, specifically in DevOps and Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that support healthcare applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
- Implement and support healthcare interoperability standards including DICOM, HL7, and FHIR across integrated systems.
- Design and build scalable, enterprise-grade applications using cloud-native architectures and best practices.
- Set up and manage backend infrastructure in a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Strong experience with RESTful API design and Microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM, HL7, and FHIR.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in the healthcare sector.
