The team is seeking a Java API & Microservices Engineer / Architect to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining APIs that facilitate data access and integration across various systems, ensuring seamless communication and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust APIs to support various applications and services.
- Develop microservices architecture to enhance system scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the security and integrity of data through effective API management.
- Monitor and optimize API performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API design and microservices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java and experience with API development frameworks.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful services and SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on API and microservices.
