About this role
The team is seeking an experienced IT Engineer specializing in Talend to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes that ensure efficient data integration and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Talend, Python, and AWS Glue.
- Monitor, support, and troubleshoot production ETL jobs to ensure optimal performance.
- Upgrade Talend in production environments to leverage the latest features and improvements.
- Collaborate with offshore development teams to ensure seamless integration and project execution.
- Continuously assess and enhance data integration processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Conduct proof of concepts to evaluate new technologies and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Talend and strong knowledge of ETL processes.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AWS Glue.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in IT engineering and data integration.
