About this role
The team is seeking an IoT Software/Firmware Security Researcher who is passionate about firmware IoT security. This role requires a strong understanding of embedded firmware security and hands-on experience with firmware reversing for ARM and X86 architectures, including OS-based and BareMetal firmware. You will be an integral part of our growing IoT security ecosystem, focusing on identifying vulnerabilities in IoT device firmware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough security assessments of IoT device firmware.
- Perform firmware analysis and reverse engineering to uncover vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IoT security measures.
- Develop and implement security testing methodologies for embedded systems.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and threats in IoT security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems and firmware security.
- Proficiency in firmware reversing techniques for ARM and X86.
- Experience with security tools and frameworks relevant to IoT devices.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in IoT security or embedded firmware security.
