About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer Lead to join their team in Hyderabad or Chennai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for leading infrastructure projects and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and specifications.
- Oversee system performance monitoring and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and technical skills.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external service providers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar role.
