About this role
The team is building a world-class team and is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will be part of an agile project team, working with all the infrastructure components of a system. You will oversee the migration process and be responsible for designing, maintaining, and monitoring the new cloud platform. Additionally, you will configure hybrid connectivity between on-site systems and the cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP.
- Oversee the migration of existing systems to the cloud.
- Monitor and maintain the cloud environment to ensure optimal performance.
- Configure and manage hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
