About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Automation Engineer to join their team in Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, or Bangalore. This role involves automating end-to-end infrastructure build provisioning across on-premises and Azure environments. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing a shared ServiceNow-led intake, approval, orchestration, and closed-loop status model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate infrastructure provisioning processes using tools such as Jenkins and ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and reliability.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks, particularly Jenkins and ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: 6-8 years in infrastructure engineering or automation roles.
