About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to join their Information Security team. This team is dedicated to protecting the organization’s intellectual property, IT infrastructure, and business operations from both external and internal threats. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the Security Operations Centre by leveraging various security technologies and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with technology, risk, compliance, internal audit, and business leaders to identify and mitigate cyber risks.
- Develop and implement security measures across EDR, SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, IAM, firewalls, and NIDS/NIPS.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents effectively.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security weaknesses.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
- Provide guidance and support in security best practices and compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in information security or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and technologies, including EDR, SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, IAM, firewalls, and NIDS/NIPS.
- Experience with incident response and security operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
