The team is seeking self-driven engineers to join their growing team as Staff Software Engineers. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing high-scale data pipelines and storage solutions while adhering to best practices. You will be expected to prioritize projects effectively, make sound judgments, and work towards improving processes to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-scale data pipelines and storage systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize existing systems and processes for better performance and scalability.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and data management.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Strong understanding of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in software engineering or data engineering roles.
