About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead their eCommerce development center in Chennai. In this role, you will oversee a multidomain engineering organization responsible for building and operating technology platforms that power the eCommerce business. You will be instrumental in converting strategic goals into scalable software, data, and AI solutions across various services including Cart, Checkout, and Health & Wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a diverse engineering team to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies for eCommerce member journeys and service enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering and eCommerce development.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing large engineering teams.

- Experience with cloud services, mobile applications, and AI technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years in software engineering, with significant experience in leadership roles.
