The team is seeking a Group Director of Software Engineering to lead their Global Catalog team, which plays a crucial role in enhancing product experiences across both online and in-store journeys for millions of customers worldwide. This leadership position will focus on empowering suppliers and sellers to efficiently create and manage product experiences while ensuring customers can discover, evaluate, and purchase products with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee the development and implementation of high-quality product information systems and intelligent commerce experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of product experiences across various platforms.
- Drive the strategic vision for the Global Catalog, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance product offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering leadership roles, with a strong background in e-commerce or retail technology.
- Expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of database management and data architecture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic thinker with a track record of delivering complex software solutions.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
