About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Python Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with a focus on Python. You will be responsible for building robust applications and APIs while ensuring high-quality code and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
- Build and consume REST APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Handle data processing tasks using libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
- Implement asynchronous programming techniques with async/await and asyncio.
- Manage virtual environments and dependencies effectively.
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain version control using Git and follow CI/CD practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong command of core Python concepts, including OOP, data structures, and exception handling.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one relational database (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with debugging tools and software engineering fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of LLMs, tokens, embeddings, prompt engineering, and RAG is a plus.
- Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, and Amazon Bedrock is advantageous.
