About this role
The team is seeking a Historian System and Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise software applications for their Global AI-Smart Operations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on solving complex technical challenges, driving CI/CD automation, and working with industrial data streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of resource-optimized OT/IT applications for production operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes.
- Analyze and optimize application performance and scalability.
- Work with industrial data streams to ensure effective data management and utilization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in software development languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with database management systems, particularly SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in software engineering or related fields, with a focus on enterprise applications.
