The team is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager – Data to join their team in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This role is pivotal in leading and managing Data Engineering teams while driving technical delivery and data architecture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage Data Engineering teams to ensure high performance and successful project delivery.
- Own people management responsibilities, including team development and hiring processes.
- Drive the design and implementation of data architecture solutions.
- Oversee technical delivery and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in Data Engineering with a strong background in people management.
- Proficiency in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, Python, SQL, Spark, ADLS Gen2, and Synapse.
- Extensive knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data architecture principles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
