About this role
The team is seeking a Head of Information Security to lead their security initiatives and protect sensitive data across their organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of information security protocols and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy.
- Oversee the security architecture and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage security incidents and lead investigations to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into all processes.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Provide training and awareness programs to staff regarding security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in information security management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in information security or related fields, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
