The team is seeking a Head of Cloud Infrastructure & Security to lead their cloud engineering team. This role involves setting strategic direction and establishing best practices for cloud adoption, architecture, and operations. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cloud engineering team in developing cloud strategies.
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions.
- Evaluate and select the best cloud platforms and tools for the organization.
- Oversee the migration of on-premises applications and data to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources including compute, storage, and networking.
- Establish security protocols and compliance measures for cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cloud architecture and engineering, particularly with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience in managing cloud migrations and optimizing cloud resources.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and security roles, with a focus on leadership and strategy.
