GRC Lead - India

The team is seeking a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Lead to drive the maturity of their governance, risk management, and compliance capabilities. This role is crucial in overseeing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensuring that regulatory and certification compliance is maintained across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of GRC frameworks and processes.
• Oversee the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensure its effectiveness.
• Drive risk governance activities and manage customer assurance programs.
• Ensure security policies and standards are effectively communicated and implemented.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide training and awareness programs for staff on governance, risk, and compliance matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in governance, risk management, and compliance, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of information security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-8 years in governance, risk, and compliance roles, with a focus on information security.
