About this role

The team is seeking a GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) Specialist to enhance their compliance readiness and support risk assessment initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that compliance initiatives are effectively managed and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide input on compliance readiness in support of periodic risk assessments.
  • Analyze compliance initiatives that may be at risk of meeting goals and contribute findings to the Risk Register.
  • Actively participate in risk treatment strategies and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the preparation of executive reports for the Risk Committee.
  • Support external audit efforts by supplying evidence related to risk, policy, and third-party governance.
  • Stay updated with evolving regulatory compliance trends and report findings to the Compliance team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Information Technology.
  • 5-8 years of experience in governance, risk management, and compliance roles.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in risk management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
