About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Global IT Managed Services Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of their global technology estate. This role will be pivotal in managing the Kubernetes fleet, physical compute, and network infrastructure across two datacenters, as well as the platform services deployed on this infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the global IT infrastructure operations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Oversee the management of over 60 Kubernetes clusters across two datacenters.
- Ensure the effective operation of the private cloud environment, including physical compute and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in infrastructure management and service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service quality.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, particularly with Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and data center operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for IT operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or IT service management are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years in IT infrastructure operations or managed services leadership roles.
