About this role
The team is seeking a GCP DevOps Lead with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading DevOps initiatives, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support scalable and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
- Implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Utilize containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, for application deployment.
- Ensure cloud security best practices are followed in all deployments.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, implementing necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
