About this role
The team is seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and will be responsible for implementing and managing data ingestion processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines using GCP services such as GCS, BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Data Fusion, and DataProc.
- Perform ETL/ELT operations to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues as they arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on GCP services.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 5-12 years of relevant experience in data engineering and GCP.
