The team is seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join their dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the data infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements.
- Optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost efficiency.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data processing workflows and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related fields.
