The team is seeking a GCP Data Architect to join their team and play a crucial role in transforming complex business challenges into clear, quantifiable outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, artificial intelligence, and data management, enabling enterprises to leverage their data as a strategic asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Develop data models, data pipelines, and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost efficiency.
- Provide guidance on best practices for data governance and security.
- Stay updated with the latest GCP features and industry trends to continuously improve data architecture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role with a focus on GCP.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly Google Cloud services.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other GCP data services.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java for data manipulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in data architecture or related fields.
