About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, GCP services, and best practices for building scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.
- Optimize existing cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to create scalable applications.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Provide guidance and expertise on GCP services and architecture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with GCP tools and infrastructure automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cloud architecture and GCP.
