About this role
The team is seeking a Game Data Analyst to drive data-driven decisions in gaming product management. The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling insights for LiveOps events, feature launches, and content updates through effective dashboard creation and dataset definition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) including Daily Active Users (DAU), Retention Rate, Churn Rate, Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), and session metrics.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports on player behavior, performance accuracy, engagement, and monetization trends to enhance visibility.
- Conduct A/B testing to evaluate player engagement strategies and optimize game features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment and support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve game performance and player satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the gaming industry.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and analytics software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and performance metrics analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
