In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the GitLab environment, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and improve overall system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain GitLab instances, managing user permissions and repository settings.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to GitLab and associated tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment strategies and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies to enhance the team's capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on GitLab administration.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.) is a plus.
Experience: 7-10 years in a DevOps or related role.
