About this role

The team is seeking a Fullstack Software Developer with expertise in React and .NET to join their Data & Research Development team. In this role, you will leverage a wide range of technologies to build and maintain enterprise-grade applications, collaborating with teams across multiple locations. Your contributions will significantly enhance client-facing applications and deliver critical functionality to both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including architecture, design, development, and support using React.js and .NET Core.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and adhere to Agile best practices.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software as necessary.
  • Create technical design documents and conduct technical walkthroughs.
  • Perform code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge within the team.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance your skill set.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in desktop application development.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Proficiency in SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Hands-on experience with React.js, Redux, and .NET Core.
  • Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Understanding of cloud platform architecture, including containerization tools.
  • Ability to resolve performance issues through testing, debugging, and profiling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with stream processing platforms, GraphQL, and AI prompting.
  • Exposure to additional JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular or Vue.js.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot.
