About this role
The team is seeking a Fullstack Software Developer with expertise in React and .NET to join their Data & Research Development team. In this role, you will leverage a wide range of technologies to build and maintain enterprise-grade applications, collaborating with teams across multiple locations. Your contributions will significantly enhance client-facing applications and deliver critical functionality to both internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including architecture, design, development, and support using React.js and .NET Core.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and adhere to Agile best practices.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software as necessary.
- Create technical design documents and conduct technical walkthroughs.
- Perform code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge within the team.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance your skill set.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in desktop application development.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Proficiency in SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile and test-driven development (TDD).
- Hands-on experience with React.js, Redux, and .NET Core.
- Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Understanding of cloud platform architecture, including containerization tools.
- Ability to resolve performance issues through testing, debugging, and profiling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with stream processing platforms, GraphQL, and AI prompting.
- Exposure to additional JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular or Vue.js.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot.
