The team is building a modern Digital Insurance Platform (MDIP) that powers complex insurance journeys at enterprise scale. They are seeking proactive Fullstack Java Engineers who go beyond routine task execution. The ideal candidate for this role is an innovative problem-solver who excels at overcoming technical challenges, writing high-quality code, and transforming conceptual ideas into product features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across the stack to build real product capabilities, rather than isolated components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer with a strong background in Java.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Experience with back-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in fullstack Java development.
