About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Fullstack Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building backend services primarily using Node.js/NestJS, ensuring that the architecture you create supports a fast and reliable checkout experience for merchants. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the performance of services that handle approximately $2B GMV across 15,000 merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own services end to end, from design to deployment.
- Make architectural decisions that enhance performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions.
- Monitor and optimize service performance to improve merchant conversion rates.
- Set technical standards and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Node.js and NestJS.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture and microservices.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
- Familiarity with database technologies like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in fullstack development, with a focus on backend services.
