Full-Stack TypeScript Developer (Contract)

The team is seeking a Full-Stack TypeScript Developer for a contract position, with a focus on building an internal resource planning and management platform. This role is remote, but candidates should be based in Chennai, as occasional office visits may be required. The shift timing will be from 5:30 PM to 1:30 AM. This contract position is for 3 months, with a possibility of extension.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for shipping features end-to-end, from the database schema through the API layer to the UI, deploying on Vercel with a Postgres/Supabase backend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features in TypeScript, covering frontend, API/server logic, and database aspects.
• Model relational data and write efficient SQL queries against Postgres/Supabase.
• Build and maintain database schemas, migrations, and Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.
• Develop and deploy applications on Vercel, including managing preview deployments and serverless functions.
• Write clean, typed, and testable code, and participate in code reviews.
• Debug issues across the stack, from slow queries to rendering bugs and deployment failures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with the ability to write idiomatic, well-typed code.
• Full-stack experience with a modern React framework, preferably Next.js.
• Hands-on experience with Postgres/Supabase, including Auth, database management, and writing queries.
• Solid understanding of database fundamentals, including normalization, indexing, and query performance.
• Experience deploying and operating applications on Vercel.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD processes.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with an ORM/query builder such as Drizzle, Prisma, or Kysely.
• Knowledge of Server Components/Server Actions and modern Next.js App Router patterns.
• Testing experience using tools like Vitest or Playwright.
• Familiarity with resource-planning, scheduling, or B2B SaaS domains.
