About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join their team in building a cross-platform Electron desktop application for real-time instrument control and signal visualization. This role involves working with TypeScript and React in the renderer, as well as managing a Node main process that handles device I/O, session state, and data persistence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the application architecture and development for both the renderer and main process.
- Develop and maintain the IPC contract to ensure seamless communication between processes.
- Manage real-time data interfaces and integrate hardware and processing components.
- Oversee the release pipeline to ensure smooth deployment of the application to end users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend development.
- Strong experience with Node.js for backend development.
- Familiarity with Electron framework for building desktop applications.
- Understanding of real-time data processing and hardware integrations.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on desktop applications.
