About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Full-stack Developer with expertise in Next.js and Node.js to join their team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing real-world web applications and products, taking ownership of features from development to deployment. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable working independently, making technical decisions, and solving problems rather than just following predefined tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and Node.js
- Take ownership of features from development through to deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Implement REST APIs and integrate third-party services
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Next.js and React.js
- Strong experience with Node.js and backend development
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
- Ability to build scalable and performance-focused applications
Good to Have:
- Experience with AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of Docker
- Familiarity with Redis and background jobs
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with AI or LLM integrations
