About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Full-stack App Developer to join their founding team on a part-time, equity-only basis. This role is ideal for an experienced developer who is passionate about health technology and wellness. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a HealthTech platform that focuses on preventive healthcare and personalized wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with the founding team to define and implement innovative solutions for health intelligence and wellness.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Strong experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Passion for health and wellness is a plus.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in full-stack development.
