Freelancer- PeopleSoft Technical Developer

The team is seeking a Freelancer – PeopleSoft Technical Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications and integrations in a fully remote setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed technical designs.
• Develop and test customizations within PeopleSoft applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently.
• Build and maintain interfaces between PeopleSoft and other systems.
• Optimize database interactions for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and technical team members.
• Provide comprehensive technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong software development and programming skills relevant to PeopleSoft.
• Experience with system integration and working with APIs or middleware.
• Practical knowledge of databases, including SQL and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with CSS and front-end presentation within PeopleSoft.
• Hands-on experience as a PeopleSoft Technical Developer, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Component Interface, and Integration Broker.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and produce clear documentation.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment and managing multiple project deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in IT consulting or service-based environments is an advantage.

Experience required: 5-8 years in a relevant technical role.
