The team is a growing digital agency seeking a skilled Freelance Web Developer to join their dynamic team on a part-time or contract basis. If you're passionate about creating exceptional websites and enjoy problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Build new sites from scratch or perform one-off edits and maintenance.
- Take designs from the team and create websites using the Elementor builder.
- Be a website launch specialist with expertise in DNS and related technologies.
- Develop and implement Custom Post Types and enhance website functionality.
- Ensure accessibility compliance and troubleshoot issues related to DNS and website performance.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to team members.
- Research and recommend new technologies to improve development processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 7-10+ years of experience in website development and management.
- Expert-level knowledge of WordPress, including its technical intricacies.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and modern web frameworks.
- Experience with version control (Git) and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with MySQL and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proactive approach to project management and meeting expectations.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work and maintaining coding standards.
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) Beaver Builder is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Additional Requirements:
- Full-cycle website development experience, including DNS configuration.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a small business setting.
