About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated FPGA IP Software Development Engineer to drive the architecture, development, and implementation of Soft IP solutions. In this role, you will own the end-to-end FPGA Soft IP development lifecycle—from micro-architecture definition and RTL coding to timing closure, simulation, and physical hardware validation. You will collaborate closely with embedded software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define micro-architecture for FPGA Soft IP solutions.
- Develop RTL code and perform timing closure.
- Conduct simulations to validate designs.
- Oversee physical hardware validation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with FPGA design and development.
- Proficiency in RTL coding languages such as VHDL or Verilog.
- Familiarity with timing analysis and closure techniques.
- Experience with simulation tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in FPGA development and Soft IP solutions.
