The team is a pioneering AI-native Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering company, focused on developing next-generation data infrastructure. They are seeking a Founding Backend Engineer to join their expanding team in Bangalore. This role is 100% in-office and is ideal for immediate joiners who are currently based in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend development or software engineering.
